From the Desk of Presiding Elder Edmund Lowe Sr.
To the People of God under the fellowship of the African Methodist Episcopal Church in the St. Louis-Cape Girardeau District. Rev. Regina and I greet you with the universal words of Love, Peace and Excellence.
We pray that you will join us in working to achieve the things that God has placed in our hands to do, and to achieve them with Excellence!
Together, we will make a difference and achieve them with excellence by the power of the Holy Spirt and the committed hearts and hands of God's people. Our text for direction is Act. 2:42-47, where the New Testament church found favor from God by utilizing "Divine Fellowship" in its truest form.
The following will be our primer to accomplish our plan of Seeking Excellence In All We Do:
OUR SCRIPTURE: And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, ad so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ. --Philippians 1:9-10
OUR MANDATE: The Great Commission of Jesus Christ to go and make disciples. -- Matthew 28:16-20
OUR OPPORTUNITY: The spiritual hunger, thirst and need of this current generation for Christ-centric Leadership.
OUR MOTIVATION: The command for us to "Rebuild the Walls." Nehemiah 2:17
OUR NEED: Ministering in these days requires visionary thinking, integrity, transparency, aggressive action and a clear plan for the future in all our churches.
OUR THEME: Seeking Excellence in All We Do
OUR PROMISE: All for One and One for All
